We have many emails that come through to the Upton Festival website, many of which are the same questions. So we have set up this page to answer some of the most frequently asked questions to make things easier for you! Here is a list of your questions answered! We hope you enjoy the festival!!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: I have already bought tickets online, but I have not received them, should I be concerned?
A: No, all tickets purchased in 2011 for 2012's festival will not be sent out until January. All tickets purchased at any time will be sent out at least one month before the event. Please retain your PayPal confirmation email as proof of purchase.
Q: Are dogs welcome?
A: Yes of course you may bring your dog to our festival. We ask that they are kept on leads within the Arena area and that you do not leave them in cars at any point. Owners are responsible for their dogs and are to bag their mess up and dispose of it appropriatly.
Q: Can we bring BBQ's?
A: You may have BBQ's in the camping area ONLY. BBQ's must be attended at all times and anyone seen acting irresponsibly with any BBQ will be asked to leave the site and not allowed re-admittance. BBQ's must be kept off the ground as not to damage the fields.
Q: What age is considered a child to gain free entrance?
A: Children 12 years or under will gain free entrance to Upton 2012. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times and parents/guardians will be held responsible for their children's behaviour. Any parents found acting irresponsibly and not watching their children may be asked to leave the site and not be allowed re-admittance. ID is required for all on entry to Upton 2012. Challenge 21 policy in place.
Q: Which ticket do I buy if I have a caravan, campervan or motorhome?
A: Full weekend including camping - this includes caravans, campervans or motorhomes at no extra charge. Enjoy!
Q: Do you have a separate area for caravans, campervans or motorhomes?
A: Yes and No, there is some limited space for caravans, campervans or motorhomes but as there has been high demand for customers with caravans, campervans or motorhomes to camp next to their friends in tents, all camping will be in the camping area. Please note: we request that you be respectful to your neighbours, there will be plently of room so there is no need to cross over guide ropes or block anyone in. Thanks!
Q: Can I camp with a single day ticket?
A: No, Camping is only available for Full Weekend including Camping ticket holders.
Q: Is there a car park?
A: Yes parking is free to Upton 2012 ticket holders
